Benidorm Brit Bar Owners Considering Half-price Beer To Attract Holidaymakers

Brit expats all along the Spanish Costas are hoping bar owners will slash beer prices in an attempt to lure tourists back once the pandemic has run its deadly course.

Countries whose economies count tourism as an important contributor to their GDP are hoping against hope the pandemic will fade away before it’s done too much financial damage, a stance also taken by the large number of British expat owners of bars in Spain. The popular holiday destination has been one of the hardest-hit by the coronavirus, with its tourist industry now in tatters and British-owned bars and restaurants closed and shuttered.
