ExpatBriefing: Barbados Land Tax Now Due
The Barbados Revenue Authority has issued land tax bills for the financial year 2018-2019, with a discount available for early payment.
A 10 percent discount will be given for taxpayers paying in full within 30 days of the date on which they were issued (September 24, 2018), and a five percent discount will apply to taxpayers who pay within 60 days.
Land tax can be paid in various ways including at the Authority's offices, by check, by wire transfer, or online using EzPay on the government portal.
The Authority further said it is presently focusing on land tax defaulters.
